I've been struggling with what my concentration is but in these pieces I was going in the direction of combining lines and defined shape with looser mark making and paint strokes.
lalalala I love them! I love the direction you are going in. I think the idea of playing with space and lines and shapes is going to be really successful but I also like the emotion idea. you could combine the two. I think that the look a little similar and could have more of a contrast in them. I would play more with space and contrast! Your red one was at the showcase thingy and it looked wonderful! I'm not sure what else to say other than I absolutly approve ! your color pallete and line placment in.the first painting is beautiful, I already see growth. The bottom one just makes me.smile, not sure how to.explain it haha. And lastly the middle one, its a great composition, but the colors are a bit distracting, they make the painting look more busy than it really is. I feel as if the green and brown are in an epic battle to take over the.canvas, but overall, me gusta.
i really like the third one that you have uploaded i think the mark making is very deliberate and powerful it shows a lot of emotion in the piece. i really love that your playing with different lines and shapes in your work. keep up the awesome layering and use of color. love your work
